The Welcome Reception Friday 27th April:
A welcome reception was held at Newtown High School between 5.00pm and 6pm in the school hall for the two coaches and 108 visitors.
Welcome speeches were given by Kate Rayner of NTA and our Mayor Sue Newham. Introductions for our French visitors to all our hosts.
Light refreshments and soft drinks were provided. Hosts then took their French guests home for an evening meal.
It was fortunate that the two coaches arrived at different times as this proved much easier to manage!!
