This is a joint event with 26 of our French Friends from Les Herbiers visiting. A party of 50 Welsh and French block booked at the stadium!!
Trip to Cardiff: Available Seats
Please note that we have 6 seats left on the coach to Cardiff at £13.00 per person, unfortunately we do not have any Tickets for the match available, however if you would like to join us to spend the day in Cardiff the travel times are as follows:
Itinerary:
- Friday 21st Feb: French party arrive from Manchester airport at Back Lane Car Park Newtown for collection by hosts at 1.00pm. Evening meal with hosts. Important: If you are not able to collect your guests until later in the afternoon please contact us at: newtowntwinning@gmail.com
- Saturday 22nd Feb: Breakfast with hosts. Rugby party Leave Newtown from Back Lane car park at 11.00 am. Please can we ask those hosts who are not traveling to Cardiff on the coach to please bring their guests to the Back lane car park. Arrive Cardiff 1.00pm. Coach parking at Museum Ave. or Edward 7th Ave. (see Cardiff map provided) Game starts at 45 pm, due to security issues we need to be at the entrance gate at 3.15 pm. (Important: Please see attached new Security details regarding the Stadium) Return to coach and leave Cardiff at 7.30pm. Stop at Wetherspoons Brecon, The George Hotel for refreshments or meal. Return Newtown 12.00pm.
- Sunday 23rd Feb: Breakfast with hosts. French party leave Newtown from Back lane car park for Manchester Airport at 7.45am.
Please note that we are unable to leave any earlier from Newtown on Saturday due to the driver’s hours.
