Newtown Walking Festival 2026. French walking party visit

This year we are very pleased to host a large party of French walkers who will be joining us for the Newtown Walking Festival 2026.

From Friday 5th June to Sunday 7th June.

In 2023 a large party of 35 French walkers visited Newtown to enjoy our wonderful countryside and a range of walks. They enjoyed the area and the walks so much that they now return in June 2026.

The French walkers arrive at 5.00pm on the Friday 5th June and depart at 7.30am on Monday 8th June. Very many thanks to all our very generous hosts who have made this possible.

On the Saturday evening at 6.30pm in Hafan Yr Afon, Ffonic will be holding a Twmpath dance event for all walkers. More to follow. https://www.hafanyrafon.com/
